January has been a very busy month for UBC Sororities, but it is nothing that we can’t handle!

Congratulations to all of the sororities who have participated in Spring Recruitment. We welcome you to UBC Sororities and we hope you experience everything the Greek system has to offer; from leadership opportunities to countless philanthropies, we hope you enjoy every minute of being a part of a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you to everyone who was involved with the success of the very first Spring Recruitment.

Registration for Formal Recruitment 2011 is officially open!  Have a look at our How to Join section and stay informed by following us on twitter!

A huge congrats to one of our sororities for raising over $18,000 for the Canadian Diabetes Association. That’s enough money to send 18 kids with Type 1 diabetes to Camp Kakhamela, a program dedicated to providing a quality summer camp experience while teaching campers about diabetes.

We are very excited to announce that Stacy Nadeau from Dove’s Campaign for Real Beauty will be the guest speaker at this year’s Pride of Panhellenic. Every year we have a luncheon to celebrate all of our new members and this year we are very fortunate to have Stacy join us and share about her experience and address issues affecting young women everywhere, namely body image and self esteem.

We had an amazing turnout this year and we hope everyone enjoyed this experience as much as we did! Congratulations to all the sororities on a successful recruitment.

To all the new members, welcome to the Greek System!! We look forward to seeing you at our Pride of Panhellenic event happening later this term.
