Conversation Question Guide

During recruitment, the sorority women will be asked the same questions again and again. Try to think of questions that will help you stand out!

Here are some examples of meaningful questions that you can ask the sorority women.

  • How has being in your sorority helped you grow as a leader?
  • What event while being in a sorority has had the biggest impact on who you are?
  • What has been your main accomplishment since joining a sorority?
  • What has been the most challenging part about being in a sorority?
  • What are the most rewarding factors about being part of your sorority?
  • Who inspires you most in your chapter?
  • When were you most proud of your chapter? Why?
  • What is one factor that your sorority could improve on?
  • What values attracted you to join your sorority?
  • When you first joined, what were you looking to get out of your sorority experience?
  • Do you have a goal that would like to reach within your chapter?
  • How does your sorority membership positively affect other parts of your life for the better?
  • Other than long-lasting friendships, what do you want to get your of your sorority membership?
  • Did you have any concerns when you first joined your sorority? How did you overcome them?
  • Are you or your sisters involved in any other organizations out of being part of a sorority?
  • What is one characteristic about your sisters that you value most?
  • In what ways have your sisters supported you through your university experience?
  • Is there anyone in particular that you would like to get to know better this year? Why?
  • How does your chapter help new members integrate into the chapter during the new member process?
