Sororities participate in informal recruitment when they have room for additional members following formal recruitment, which occurs after fall. Participating sororities hold fun events where potential new members have the chance to meet some of the members and learn about membershio in their sorority. If chapter members feel you would make a geat addition to their chapter, they will offer you a bid, an invitation to membership, which you can accept or decline.
Many sororities on campus are still participating in Continuous Recruitment! Attending informal recruitment is an excellent opportunity for you meet sororities on campus in a more casual and relaxed way.Joining a sorority is an exciting time full of many opportunities to succeed in all aspects of university life!

Formal recruitment for sororities happens each year in September. We are pleased to announce the dates of Formal Recruitment 2012:
TOURS: (attend ONE of the two)
Saturday, September 15th, 2012 or
Sunday, September 16th, 2012
During Tours, you will get to meet each of the eight sororities for a brief period of time.
INVITATIONALS:
Wednesday, September 19th, 2012
During Invitationals, you will be invited back to up to five sororities for a longer period of time.
PREFERENCE:
Saturday, September 22nd, 2012
During Preference, you will have the chance to attend an hour long party for up to two sororities.
BID DAY:
September 23rd, 2012
Bid day is when you receive your bid (invitation to membership) and celebrate with your new sisters!
