I joined Gamma Phi Beta because I found my home away from home. My sisters have been and continue to be my role models, best friends, and they never cease to amaze or inspire me.

Being in my chapter was comfortable, I knew everyone and knew how it would work so when I joined, it was uncomfortable being in a room of women I didn’t know, rules of governing I was unfamiliar with and a feeling that I was expected to master it all right off the bat (of course that wasn’t the case). I believe putting myself in an uncomfortable situation enabled me to develop who I am as a leader and push myself outside of my limits in terms of trying new things and making decisions with confidence.
